ok, when flashing the X3 (cause ill have one in a week or so)
do you flash whatever bank the switch is set on at that time, or when you connect via http do you pick the bank from there?
basically, my question is when flashing the X3 chip, is the bank being flashed totally based on how you have your switches?
hope that makes sense.

so if you try and boot to a bios that has a blank spot, does it just go to flashbios?
also if you have a bios in a bank, but then want it erased and flashed with a new one, how would you erase the current one?
i would know how to put the new one on there, but just wondering how you clear a bank.

if you want flashbios there, you have to flash it with flashbios...but you can boot-up lets say with the back-up of the X3 which has flashbios, then CHANGE the dipswitchs to the new one you want and flash with a new bios.. to put a new bios over an old one you just have to re-flash with a new one... it just overwrites the old one... _________________ (2) XBOX v1.4:

so i can boot it up to the backup (which is preflashed with flashbios), then when that boots up, i can "on the run" switch my dipswitches to the bank i want flashed, then flash it?
sorry im asking tedious questions, i just like to clear up the loose ends before i start the whole modding process.
i have an xenium right now (gold), and its very simple to install and flash, etc...but im selling that box.

ya, thats what the back-up is made for.. its not gonna crash.and yes the bios totally depends on the dip switches, so lets say you boot up on backup, then you switch them to bank one, then you flash bank one... _________________ (2) XBOX v1.4:
