i had a friend that modded an xbox and most of the games i copied, work great!
except for mortal comabat. it tells me i could not copy 4 files and then when i start mortal combat, the logo appears, but nothing else happens.
is there something i am doing wrong?
is there a fix for this?
also, i heard that call of duty3 will not play without the cd. but i know there is a fix for this somewhere.
any help for this newbie would be greatly appreciated.
thanx in advance.

if the game is original xbox game then just recopy it but to the HDD but if it is a backup copy that your friend made then he probly didnt check it after he copied it to a disc and about the call of duty game i got a backup copy of it and it works fine just dont burn the game too fast

the xox that was modded was mine.
it has a 160 gd harddrive and about 20 games on it.
i am trying to add the mortal combat game to the hard drive & when i try to play it, that is when i am having the problem of the game freezing.
thanx for the reply.

if you are using dvd2xbox then look at the log and get the files that it didnt copy over correctly and pull them off manually using the file explorer. _________________
