Posted: Mon Sep 27, 2004 7:02 am Post subject: Problems running some games from my Hard Drive
Hi, I've tried to install quite a few backups to my hard drive (Burnout 3, Top SPin, Richard Burns Rally, Toca Race Driver 2 etc etc) and they wont run after I install them.
The screen freezes and locks up the console or it freezes for a few secs then restarts the dashboard? some games work fine when I've installed them but a few do this, these same games boot fine from DVD though.
Any ideas?
Also, I've downloaded a few emulators and roms and one xbox game, whats the best way to install these on the xbox, and where/hoe do I install them so they appear in my emulators section of the dashboard?

Most of the latest games have protection so they wont run off the XBOX HDD..
DVD2XBOX is a application which removes protection from most games when ripping from the dvdrom drive to your XBOX HDD..
You can find other patching tools in our DOWNLOADS section under 'Patching Tools'..

have you ever heard of autoinstallers?
The XBOX HQ EMU AUTOINSTALLER installs 20 of the latest greatest emualtors directly onto your xbox hdd and links them in your evox menus automaticlly.. I would suggest using this to install the EMULATORS..
INSTALLING ROMS:
you will need to learn how to ftp from your pc to your xbox (not too hard) and then you can copy all those rom files (*.zip) into the emulator folders on your xbox hdd..
One step at a time mate.. Sounds like you have a bit to learn..
