Did this just happen out of the blue or did you update?

Perhaps we are in the same boat. I have a similar problem and I think we could both benefit from this thread.ALWAYS BACKUP FILES TO PC. After deleting my old xbmc files (including one of the tdata and udata aslo e/apps/xbmc where I installed it originally as specified in a few tuts i read). Your file path my be the same,or slightly different depending on the installers choice. I place an extracted copy of the 2.0.1 release on the xbox in it's respected place. Upon reboot i get a fatal error that allows me to still ftp to the box. Fortunately i (as always) made a backup of the file(s) I am changing. I rename The new media center still on my box(just added a letter at the end) and put the old media center back in its place. I am able to boot as normal again, and I know the new media center works through and through(using the file directory you can boot any dash). I would like to keep the new media center as my primary dash and rid of the old xbmc. How do I proceed from here? or do I need to do something different? _________________ Playing with my Wii never gets boring.

All fixed...for some reason it HAD to be put in the dashboard folder, and not the APPS folder. The original was installed in E/Apps.....Weird. Have you made progress? _________________ Playing with my Wii never gets boring.
