in trying to use a game save manager for my xbox using s crossover connection with my laptop i did it about a year ago and i cant remember how i had the settings...ive read some of the other forums and tried some network settings i saw but nothing worked can someone please help???

u have to share your inet. its easy on xp go into start connect to then show all connections then right click on ur lan port then go to advanced then check the box and ok it _________________

are trying to connect your xbox to your laptop ? this is called ftp use flashfxp as its the best program . but what you mean that your using a game save manager to connect or what? i got lost there

the game save manager acts like a ftp program i just need to set my network connection so that the program and connect to my xbox

dhcp will only work if a dhcp server is present
use static settings and make sure to configure them unique and in the same range
post back if ur still stuck
BTW you'll also need a cross over cable for direct xbox to laptop connection

i am using a cross over cable i have a v1.o that is softmodded and i am using a evox dash board i can find anything in my settings that says dhcp not sure what else to say...oh and i have tried using the static setting

not evox x arrg its very buggy towards ftping , and pezzar dhcp will work better then static . jhenderson1983 settings / network are somewhere for the options on the evox .... you can also load the linux then from there ftp should be open _________________ |FTP|Useful Links| softmod vs hardmod questions
