So this is my first post on here *waits for everyone to say noob* and i just started my first xbox mod project,I've done painted my case and im doing some more little things to it ( I'll have pics of it up soon) It's pearl white/metalic Blue,and i was wonderin how to put leds in the Breakaway cables,or if someone would like help me or do it for me..lol i could send the cables and they could figure out what to chargeme ,cause im kinda new to the "putting leds in the Xbox"..so anyone could help that would be great

Its very easy to do if youve had any experience with a soldering iron, Youll need 1 Blue LED and 1 100ohm Resitor for each dongle you light up.
http://xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials-192.html Here is a tutorial by impwiz demonstrating how to add leds to controller ports but its the same idea only take out the metal peice over the soldering points on the dongle and cut the resistor and led short as possible.

If your talking in the breakaway cable dongle that sticks out of the xbox when the controller is connected, that is also fairly easy.

that's exactly what i needed to know,Thanks,and im gonna mount leds in the controler ports aswell i want it to shine...lol i was gonna buy this one led to put where the jewel is it had like 40 leds in it,it was $60 though don't really feel like spendin that much right now...

wow that was the easiest mod i've ever done...lol,i had a green led layin around and did it,now i need to know, where to buy cheap blue leds ?

Today im about to finish up my case,and hopefully if i find my camra i'll post pics of it up,im gonna check on ebay for the leds cause i called radioshack tis morning and they wanted $2:29 each.
