I transfered some music and pictures to my HD, and when i enter XBMC, i can listen to the music, and kind of see the pictures. But when i play music, if i want to stop it, XBMC basically shutsdown to a black screen, and i can still hear the music. Also, about 3 minutes into a song, XBMC will take me to a black screen, which doesnt allow me to go back th XBMC.
I transfered a lot of pictures to XBMC, and when im looking at the pictures, every one is screwed up. They are cropped in every which way. Like half a picture horizontal or verticle, or only a triangle in the top right corner. If anyone knows why my XBMC is so messed up please tell me.

Make sure it's the latest version, but I would go into the settings and make sure xbmc is configured for overscan/etc.
