As long as you have a system to support the card, then yeah, they're great. I use my ATI Wonder card all the time

.. lol, yes, I guess I should have specified. You'd also need a CPU, memory, HDD, etc

the video card, and CPU and RAM are the most vital parts in order to have a TV Tuner Card, if you dont have a good CPU or enought ram and a decent video card its not going to display well.

Just post your PC specs and ill tell you if its worth it.

My laptop i'll be getting from Dell in a month has an integrated Video card and 256MB of Separate video Mem (nVidia style... *drool*) not to mention 2 gigs of RAM and a 9 cell battery... Once I get that, my xbox (one of them) will be hooked up to that laptop constantly. Givign me chances to record, screenshots, etc... CAN'T WAIT!!!

Heh, they thought the notebook was for SCHOOL!!! shame on them!

conroe was the project name its really intel core 2 duo, but mainly, i would do some research in to the items before purchasing them, and the more stuff you have the more bigger the power supply has to be for instance, and certain amd processors have come down in price.

I can help you out in pc-hq.com, I can also point you in the direction of a E book you can download and do a little read on how to build the ultimate computer.

Heres the evaluation on the chip http://www.planetx64.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=283&Itemid=14
