Hey all, my brother's Phillips drive was giving him dirty disk errors and he decided to try to take apart himself to clean...HA!! Needless to say, he trashed his DVD Drive.
I didn't know he even did this until today, I guess his machine has just been collecting dust for a few months now.
Since he knows I am into modding he gave me the machine thinking I would just part it out.
However, everything else is perfect so I want to put a new or used Thompson Drive in it.
Yeah, I know..Thompsons blow, but I have a DVD Burner so I have no worries about getting it to read media.
I found one online for $29.95 so if anyone has a better deal let me know.

i am actually selling a dvd drive on ebay right now, if u wanna check it out, its a brand new samsung, www.stores.ebay.com/xproductions, and if u still have the philips (all pieces) let me know i might take it off your hands.

Hey spongebob, give me a PM and let me know what you want for it. I don't care what kind of drive it is. I have a spare Samsung but I'm not parting with it..HA.
I just need to put something in there so he can backup games. He'll be playing off the HD anyway. Right now his is toast.
