i have a evox dash and was wondering if i could change to uleashed and how would i do that? thanks

dead easy, Unleashx only has 2 main files (same as evox)
do you have softmod or modchip?
do you have FTP access?

I want to do the same thing. I have a softmod xbox 1.6. Its softmodded with SID 4.5. I tried to go straight to UnleashX when I was softmoding, but it would stop at the unleashX logo. So I just went to EVox instead.
I still want to go with UnleashX . do you think it will lock agian if I go with it?

from your EvoX dash, pop in the AID 3.03 disc, let it load (or choose launch DVD) and scroll down to "Install Dashboards (Softmod)" Install it to the drive your Xbox boots from and you're good to go. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

If evoX was installed to E, then your xbox is set to boot of E. So yes, install to E _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

Thanks, it worked, but now I have a new problem. when I change the unleash skin and reboot it, its skin changes back to the default. is there away to stop this?

Sounds like you still have the buggy Config.xml file. using file explorer on your xbox, or FTPing in from your computer, navigate to E and open up config.xml. Scroll through it, the first like you see starting with <default skin> or something like that should be left alone. Scroll down further, and you should see another like just like it. Remove it completely, save the file, and reboot.
If that doesn't solve it, make sure you're pressing A three times (once to close it, once to open it, and once more to select it again). _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."
