Omg, I am so happy. My chip has been successfully installed and loads to the flash bios screen. I am so freaking relieved. I used the Xapt3r after all, but had trouble with point A bc its hole was covered. I ended up geting it all, but I was wondering how I could get all the points to stay correctly. Any movement and they will fall off. Can I use like electrical tape or something so that it will stay? I soldered one of the wires (A) and it worked ok, but its so hard to solder those, so any tips? And thank you to all who helped me out in this:

I know. Its so great. And I couldnt put it in because they wouldnt go down any more and the A point had been covered up with solder. So I just adjusted it by adding solder to the Xapt3r and soldering it to the mobo. Genious I know lol, buit now I think I am gonna network flash it. Seems easiest. What bios supports 1.6 B hhd upgrades? _________________ Moddingbandit

Logical block addressing (LBA) is common scheme used for specifying the location of blocks of data stored on computer storage devices, generally secondary storage systems such as hard disks. The term LBA can mean either the address or the block to which it refers. Logical blocks in modern computer systems are typically 512 or 1024 bytes each. _________________

Alas, I am a joke of the world, cast down by the demigogues' of society. Anyways, I have ordered a programmer for 28.50 and will be here overnight. So if this doesnt solve my chip problem, then I shall dump my xbox and get a new one. Seems much easier. _________________ Moddingbandit
