Hi, I have been looking to download games for awhile now. I am curious what is the EASIEST and BEST program I can use to burn Xbox and PS2 games to CD. I have been told that DVD2box is good for downloading games to cd. But is DVD2Box strickly only for Xbox or is it for both systems? I have been having trouble finding a site where I can download DVD2Box, but I have been never able to find it. Can someone provide an exact link?

you will have to do the MiRc thing maybe this site has a tut on how to do it. The downloads are ftp so they are faster.

All VIP members have access to a very nice array of homebrew apps here. We have DVD2Xbox and PxHDD loader for xbox.
You rip the game on your xbox, FTP it to your PC, then create a game .ISO and burn it to a DVD R.
Is your machine modded? If not, you won't be able to even do what I just said.
From what I understand, there is a version of DVD2Xbox for PS2 as well, but we are an xbox site.

I think what this dude is looking for is some sites to leech full warez releases of games for his consoles. If that was the case then im sorry but donating 10USD wont get you any games from this site.

if i join vip, will i be able to download games, if so do i just download straight to the hard driv as i use a local library internet and would have to get a usb hard drive but need to know before i buy one. then i would take the drive home after the download the transfer to my hard drive and then burn the game, is it as easy as that or not.

okay buddy, heres the deal... first you need to have your xbox modded. then you need to be able to ftp your xbox.. then put the game into your dvd drive and transfer the files from your xboxs D:(dvd) drive to your pc. once that is done...and it will take a while... burn the files to a dvdr or dvdrw and play.
if you have installed a larger hdd then just rip it to the hdd.
you can obtain all the programs needed to do all of this in the vip section via xbox-hq auto-installer. _________________ XBOX360

i think whats hes asking is can he download straight to him Xbox HDD... its no..... and if ur using ur local libary i hope u know most xbox games are 2-2.5 gigs that can take like 10 hours to download lol hope u like reading then will the libary let u download games and ftp it to ur box (if ur in the US or Canada the answer is no) its ilegal....

i dont think they would let me stay that long unless i paid rent LOL.
the thing i dont understand is how to transfer files from my xbox to my pc do i need a cable (have got a xover cable) but dont know how to use it .
i have got a excuter 2 chip thats all i know, and some software that lets me get into the hd on the xbox ? i have tried opening my xbox game on my pc but the only file i get is VIDEO-TS and when i open that folder there is nothing in it. please help. i can build pcs but cant get my head around this.
all i am trying to do is back up my games.

the only way ull be able to backup games without a pc its saving it to ur hard drive use DVD2Xbpx or phloader not sure what there called i dont use them cause i have retail HDD and if u have Retail HDD ull only be able to save 2-3 games max but then u might not be able to save anymore to ftp u can use a crossover cable just hook it on ur box then then the pc and download a FTP programe like FlashFXP seems to work the best.... then u enter ur xbox IP u should see it on the EvoX screen.... and ur password username and password should be xbox
Also i dont think ur libary has a DVD burner
so i sugest u go buy the biggest baddest HDD u can find if ur Chip can suport it
