I got a new duox2 blue with bios flahed in and sodered that bad boy in and started her up and its like nothing happened...What did I do wrong??
It won't read any of the CD-rw or DVD-r at all. any help would be great

Hi Pson and welcome to HQ!

Sounds like you havent flashed a hacked bios onto the modchip.
When you purchase a modchip it is only flashed with whats called a cromwell bios (linux).. This is a legal bios.

You need to find a hacked bios which supports booting homebrew xbox titles.. Something like the EVOX M8 bios..

hope that helps

when you turn on your xbox with the modchip fitted it should also ask if you want to flash.. You can then install a CDRW/DVDR with the bios on it and flash..

Make sure you read up on how to do everything before just jumping in too..

Thank you for the wecome and the help. I think I just don't have it solder in right. The chip doesn't ask you for the flash opition....Also I was sold this chip from a buddy and its flashed with hacked bois...I also checked the bank and it is on the right one. I just gave up...I happened to find a co-worker does these all the time and does it on the side. I really didn't want to ship it out to others house not knowing them but this guy I know and will have him do it to be safe. My X-box works now so now is a great time to let it go to someone whos great at it. I just can't wait to play the emu.
