Hey you talking about this article?
XBOX WIRELESS LOGITECH CONTROLLER
Review Source: August 2004 Official Xbox Magazine.
Nothing comes close to this wireless wonder.
Finally, a wireless alternative to the Controller S that meets (or beats) the pack-in pad in terms of comfort or quality. The overall construction of the pad is up to par with MS's own (that means it's rock solid). The analog sticks aren't quite as snappy as those on the Controller S, but they're precise and rugged, and that's what counts. The D-pad is a 2D fighting fan's dream; half, quarter, and full-circle moves can be pulled off easier than Janet Jackson's busteir. The face-buttons and triggers, laid out exactly like the S-pads, feel anything but cheap. Even the feedback effect - put through its paces in RalliSport Challenge 2 - is great.
Logitech promises that the cordless pad will function for 50+ hours with vibration enabled and more than 300 with it off. While we can attest that it's been going strong for days while making with the shaky, we're still working towards proving the latter true. Regardless, this is the holy grail of cords-free controllers - if Logitech can produce a version with Xbox communicator support, we may just ditch our wired pads for good.
Pros
*Excellent overall contruction.
*Extremely comfortable design.
*Great vibration effect / battery life.
Cons
*Buttons might actually be too sensitive
PRICE: $39.95

Hey midtownrock11, you need to figure out if bot are lockable or not. IF you don't put a drive on your xbox that is lockable you will not be able to get to the MS Dash, which means that machine will never be able to play on MS Live. Dunno if that is important for you or not.
Here is a link to a resource that will tell you what drives are lockable. Anytime I mod a machine I look at this resource, then buy my HD. I found a WD2500JB at newegg.com for 164.00 and it's lockable. Later man.
