Can someone please help me I need to know if I have to burn games to a disc in order to use my neogenesis emulator. Did it install the games when i installed the emulator or do i have to burn them to a disc. If they were already installed where would the roms be if i installed the emulator to the e: drive. i tried burning a whole bunch of games on a cd-r from a genesis emulator, it didnt work so if anyone has any info please respond. Confused

You can burn the games to a disk, but you have to use qwix, cxboxtools, or some other xbox ISO tool to take those files and make into something readable by the xbox.

If you have room on your HDD though, you could FTP them into your directory on the E: drive, makes it much easier.

Make sure your neogensis.ini is pointing to your ROM directory on the xbox... So, if you emulator is installed to E:\Emulators\neogenesis, then the ini would be E:\emulators\neogenesis\neogenesis.ini . it should look like this:

skin_dir=E:\Emulators\genesis\EMUSKINS
rom_dir=E:\Emulators\genesis\sgenroms


if you're installed to F, just change the F to F, and so forth, blah blah. Make sure to FTP your ROms to the directory above, unless you used the AID addon packs.
