I have a copy of Ninja Gaiden (not a backup) and wanted to put it onto my HDD so I could FTP it and make a DVD-R copy. I used DVD2XBOX but when I put it in it said that Ninja Gaiden was a 6008mb file and I only had 4800mb left on the E-drive. So I cant put it on the HDD. I have a retail 8gb HDD and was wandering why there is only 4.8gb left? I softmodded with V4.5 and only installed about 4 applications (including xbmc).

This is what EVOx syas about my hdd:

FREE SPACE ON C: 140.427MB
FREE SPACE ON E: 4.781GB
FREE SPACE ON F: 0
FREE SPACE ON G: 0
FREE SPACE ON X: 788.300MB
FREE SPACE ON Y: 13.746MB
FREE SPACE ON Z: 784.269MB
What should I do. Can I join X,Y,Z onto the E drive? PLEASE HELP!

Thank You.
Razz

Half of the stock drive is used up by standard M$ software, then you have the apps you installed. That is why we reccommend upgrading your hdd after a mod.

There's actually a rather easy way to "backup" larger games with a retail drive. FTP into the box, select the D drive, create a folder on your computer to hold the game, and pull it off the DVD. Worked like a charm for me on Halo 2, then I was able to downsample and edit what I had to to get the game onto a DVD-R.

Just my two cents.
