When I first put on XBMC as my main dashbroad i could get on the internet but now i can not.I can still ftp my xbox though the pc and access smb network workgroup on the xbox to my pc works.When i log on the router it says that the xbox is there. I do not rember changing anything because it work . I reinstalled it two times and nothing yet.Also xbmc is on the F drive. So if anyone had some ideas on to fix this problem i am having i would be most greatful.

hi empire1138,
All you need to do is check your router or pc and get the DNS info from them.. You can do it on your pc like this..
Get your DNS info on your pc:
1. Click 'Start Menu' and choose 'Run'
2. Type 'cmd' and press enter
3. when the popup comes up type 'ipconfig /all' (without the '')
4. It will display all your ip info dns etc etc.
Now what you need to do is go into your XBMC settings and edit the network area.. Make sure everything matches your pc except for the XBOX IP ADDRESS which obviously has to be UNIQUE.
Thanks for that help.But I still can't still get on the web.But with your help I have got to get the shoutcast to work, the quicktime movie traliers(if i select it in file manger) and the heldline news now scoll past. On the other dashbroads they say I am missing DNS.
