Ok, I have just installed a Xecuter 3 CE chip into a 1.6B box and added a 200gig HDD. This is my second xbox but the first one I bought already chipped. Anyhow I am running Avalaunch Dashboards on both and transfered my game backups thru Avalaunch and all is working well. I install XBMC as an application. Now when I go to play a game the led ring starts as green then turns red for like 5 to 15 seconds then turns green again and the game loads and plays fine. Does anybody know what is causing this? I have the time set and running the latest X3 bios. Thanks

Hmmm, never experienced that. Although, I have noticed my eject light goes red for about 2 sec. when I reboot the box through avalaunch. If it's not causing any problems, I wouldn't be too concerned. What happens when you launch a game through xbmc? Because if it does the same thing, then you can blame the bios. _________________

I wondered that also. I just got home from work and did a few things. I cleared the cache, I also noticed an old XBMC log file which I deleted. I should have mentioned that I FTP over the old XBMC using Avalaunch from the other XBox. So to make a long story short games from XBMC load with the light always staying green. Games launched from Avalaunch now have a very quick red light and load much quicker. Everything works but I still want the red light gone Thanks for the reply.

My bad, there is actually a setting in the avalaunch xml that is for the led ring where red=busy.
