i need help plz.i tried everything and no help.i have an unmodded xbox and got this error 21 thing. i was wondering if these dashborad installers like Auto-Installer Deluxe v1.01 will work for an unmodded xbox and if not is there any way i can fix my xbox without going and buying a new mobo or harddrive.Plz help would be greatly appreciated.i heard that the Van helsing DVD will fixx it b/c it has an xbox demo on it and i played the demo before i had this problem and will try 2moro but if u guyz find any other info plz let me no.
Also if some one has the same error 21 problem and wants to try the vanhelsing thing but doesnt hav the dvd u can try THE HULK or THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK thoses are the only ones that i hav played that i no of.But there probably is more most likely the older one since i seen the new movies dont hav them no more like spiderman and fantastic 4.

if you want, i will fix if for 20 dollars (plus shipping) for labor. If you want a chip, its only another 20 dollars for a Duox2.

actually i have tampered with the seals and stuff but my waranty was up a long time ago already so.ne wayz i would love to have u fix my xbox for 20$ but i dont have a credit card , im only 15 no job and dont no how to use pay pal plus my mom would b!tch out."What if u dont get it back.what if they break it more."Also how would u get it?

Also about this hotswap thing i read in PIRRUPS HOTSWAP TUTORIAL can i use it without a modchip or that softmod thing.i really would like to use the cheapest way to fix it.
Also i dont understand y my xbox would just go down like that overnight the only thing i used it with was XBConnect .Kinda strange it went down right before Xbox 360 cam out.

uhh it doesnt read anything it just goes straight to the error screen where it says ur xbox needs service in like 7 differnt languages.
Ok this is what happened.i was playing xbox live on XBC and went to bed.i got a lilbro who likes to press around with the buttons so i unplugged it.i came home from school and pluged it back in and started it up.this is when itsatrted happening where the error screen came up.this was a bit before the xbox 360 was coming out,around late october early november time.but then i was thinking bout getting a xbox 360 and i heard they were sold out so now i really want my xbox. my life has been a miserable hell sonce it went down......on the other hand my school marks had gone up .......Ne wayz i did open my xbox to check to see if any wires were out but they were all in.
I'm thinking of buying a mod chip that is good preferably from $0-$40 and using the AIE or evolution x which i already have burnt to a DVD.
Please i really want to fix my xbox,and thnx for all the help so far.

K i ordered a DUOX2 Cromwell edition chip and it should be coming this week if not for sure nex week since they only work mondays to fridays.i hav a question.with the Duox 2 chip installed
A)Can i get my Xbox to work again? AND
B)will i be able to play those burnt games?

4 what i'v heard xenium are the best....
but yea u pop chip in reflash it and presto... note u cannt have softmods ...

sorry i didnt reply sooner, i usually get email's on replies to topics that i am inolved in...
anyway, i love Duox2's actually, and yes, it will fix the error 16. Just as long as you install it properly, and flash it with a proper bios Evox M8 are the only ones i use on all non-xecuter chips...
you will also beable to do anything you did when you had a softmod, except you dont have the fear of deleting somthing.
