What bios would work for a ver 1.4 xbox with a 250g hd
Ive load at the bios downloard section but the only bios's that say they will work are for ver 1.6, pleas help, thanks

Not sure where you are looking but there is indeed an M8 not 1.6 version with LBA 48. There is also a version without the support. Also you can use the 4982,4983,5001,5002 bioses. They all support LBA 48 as well. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

If I'm not mistaken this link has the standard M8 as well as the M8_16. After you download, chose the one that just says M8, DO NOT use the one that says M8_16, that one is for v1.6 only.

Hey goldenchild7801,
I also couldn't find the m8 LBA48 integrated bios. You can always use a bios editor (which are really easy to use). The evtool is a great one.
This tool enables you to patch the bios with LBA48 support, as well as change your big 'X' colors in the flubber intro. You can also tweak your bios to launch whatever dash you want. Just customize, save as .bin, and flash to your chip. _________________

It may be on a dvd I have because I remember it coming out about a year ago when the M8 was released. I suggest use XBtool to make it LBA48.
