Is there a way to get things like Updated Rosters for Madden 06 w/out xbox live or Action Replay ? I don't want to update the crap on my own.....that takes too long..........

Without trying to understand what you mean by taking too long to do it yourself, the only way I know to get XBL downloads is through XBL or bit torrent sites.
You'll have to look in "the usual locations" for those downloads.

Is your box modded at all? If it is you can download game saves from sites such as http://www.xboxsaves.com or http://www.codejunkies.com and then just unzip the zip file you get and upload them to the e drive. (inside the zip should be a udata folder, so just upload it to the root of the e drive) _________________

Well Sjohn I sniffed around on those sites and they do indicate that they have updated rosters. So I stand corrected. Can someone explain the difference between what's downloadable at those sites and the downloadable content on XBL then? Since I've never had XBL, I'm not sure. Normally game saves are done by fans, where the xbl content is by ea. A lot of the times fans will recreate every player on the team with what they feel the correct stats should be (ie a qb should have higher passing ratings). Where normally ea will just update the players on each team instead of reworking everyone. _________________

So it's not considered proprietary like the XBL downloadable content is?
I guess I see the difference. Glad he didn't have to bit torrent. That's the only place I knew exisited for that kind of thing.

Team Mimesis states that in the future, you can download content for other games, but as of now, they only have the knowledge to make it work with Halo 2. _________________

thanks a ton Sjohn I was able to DL the most up-to-date rosters and get them on my box......if anybody needs help on doing this just pm me and I can help.....
