Well I decided to install the mod, first i got the aid package and from there i got the SID and i installed sid on my xbox,made the aid disc, popped it in my box and started installing dashboards and apps, after I wanted to exit the aid menu and see my dashboard. I ejected the aid disc and now it gives me the call customer support and error #14 (sometimes it switches to 13) and the LED flashes green and red. And know I cant boot to my dashboard. Or the aid disc, I cant play my downloaded games, although I CAN play my games that I bought. Please tell me what to do to fix this problem. thanks

did you make a MS backup if so load the game u used to boot the softmod (Mechassault or 007 or splinter cell) and hit restore MS backup then get the SID 2.0 (alot eaiser for first timer's it all in 1 packge) i still use it and it works great tell me if u get it restored

No unfortunatly I did not backup anything I tried running SP and see if I still had the LINUX profile, nothing was there. What to do?

No, you guys dont understand. Anyways if the futureshop wont fix my xbox, Will pirrup's hotswap method fix my xbox?

Right. It was the softmod that evily deleted everything. Magical self instantiating code. Probably the same code that refused to allow you do the MS Backup too, despite every FAQ warning you to be sure to back it up.
As for where to go from here, first, learn to take a little responsibility for your actions (trying to make the store fix your problem is shady at best, and even side comments like "the softmod deleted my whole hard drive" and that you are totally blameless is misleading, and goes as far as blaming someone that put a lot of work into making this great utility for you to screw up for FREE...wow...I can't believe you even had the guts to come back here and post questions after those sort of claims). Second, you can either:
1) Buy a full $30 hardware chip mod so you can boot AID 2.11 Final and fix the boot problem.
2) Follow Pirrup's hot swap method and do the xboxhdm drive restore

1.I am not blaming ANYBODY that I messed up.
2. I am new at this
3.I replied to pirrup's comment "boot the exploit game again and reinstall the softmod" by saying I couldn't, because when you install SID it deletes everything from C, ( so it deleted the linux installer as well )
4. I still had 1 year of warranty and my dad wouldnt let me open the box up,he said if they dint fix it than do whatever you want with it (even though sort of knowing they wont fix it because I tampered with it)

SID does NOT delete the SAVE GAME. It deletes the SID directory on C: that is exploded during the soft mod. Mostly, just stuff on C:
You said it deleted everything on your HDD...that is blatantly wrong. Sorry if it was unintentional, but to my view of things, it looks like you don't spend much time getting anything right.
Sorry if you think I'm being offensive. Personally, I thought I even gave you some options on how to fix your predicament. The folks in these forums are extremely helpful and nice, and there are a ton of tutorials. I don't have a problem with people being new to this (hell, I'm new to it), I have a problem with most of your post sounding like nothing is your fault, you did nothing wrong, and this crappy utility just randomly screwed you.
