Can I take out my mod-chip and start over with a softmod.I sort of have an idea on how to do this.

Yes you could.. But why wouldnt you just use a progammer to reflash your modchip again??? Do you have a progammer for your modchip.

What modchip is it??

But, YES.. You could remove your modchip and return your xbox to its standard retail form.. Then you could start softmodding from new..

if its a recent mod-chip can you not just disable it and softmod using retail mode and while ur softmodding buy a programmer.

because i agree with forahobby a programer is so easy to install and yet so powerful,
capable of giving you the chance to start from scratch if you mess any flashes up Very Happy

i havent required one yet but hopefully i wont need to Very Happy
