I have the SmartXX V2 Halloween Edition chip with a 250 Gig HD, but don't dare take it on XBL. I have a softmodded Xbox that I use that I swap HD's on to watch other content. Just wondering if anyone has that chip working on XBL and for how long. Thanks.

Why would it matter which chip..
All chips will work on XBLIVE as long as you turn them off and make sure your xbox hdd is locked..
Also a tip.. If your xbox has already been on the xbox live service before it was modded in anyway.. Its best not to go back on with a upgrade hdd just to be safe.. Ive heard of someguys getting away with it but others get banned.
If you have never used the xbox on XBLIVE and now modded it.. You should be able to just turn off your modchip even with a larger hdd install and it should work perfect.
Just remember to have a bios like the M8 bios which boots dashboard from your e:\ drive of the xbox.. That way keeping your xbox c:\ drive clean for xbox live..
