My xbox was soft modded and when I installed the aplications it got fragged , nothing appears on the screen, only the contact company for service. My xbox is manufactured on 2005-o3-3o, so i guess it is the last version 1.6 or above. Now I don't know what to do, any help is aprecciated. The only thing it does is plays the original xbox games but it does not open any dashboards when it turns on. Help

It has the number 14 on the upper left corner and the last thing I was installing were the aplications from the aid2 disk but when i did the reboot it went black.

if you can boot original games i would suggest trying to reinstall the softmod..
Sounds to me likie you have some corrupted files onyour c:\ drive and have lost the softmodded files.
Once you get it softmodded again you should be right.

I have tried to reinstall the softmod, but it just won't read the disk. The disk was used on another xbox and worked perfectly, but on this xbox it doesn't read it any more and it all stays black when I turn on the xbox with the disk inside. I think I MIGHT have to buy a modchip to see if it works, any suggestion on the chip I should buy for my xbox. This one is version 1.6 above. Any sugestion is aprecciated.
