I backed up my GTA SA to a DVD-R and the copy boots up(I get GTA screen and all) then when the game says it's loading, the loading bar goes almost full then it freezes, everytime at the exact same point of the 'loading bar'.

Can someone help me?

I had the same problem when I didn't remove the old game saves AFTER I changed the files necessary for the HOT COFFEE MOD.

OR

Clear your Cache Drives, E:\Cache AND X, Y , Z.

I did something else and that got it fixed, apparently.
With the unsuccesful attempt I fxped all the files directly from the original dvd to my pc, patched the xbe with Qwix and created an iso with it, which I burned using Nero. This copy was the one that froze when the loading bar was almost finished
What I did now: I copied the original dvd to my hdd using xbox2dvd, fxped the files to my pc, patched the xbe with c-xboxtools and created an iso with it, and burned that with Nero.
