Has anyone ever had any issues with games freezing the xbox? I am trying to play backups from an upgraded harddrive. The games are all on the F:\. One of which (Darkwatch) worked fine on the stock harddrive, but I backed it up to my computer via ftp then upgraded the harddrive and moved it back to the new drive. After doing that the game would just freeze at the opening Capcom screen and never continue. I also recently tried Unreal Championship 2 and it freezes my xbox at the loading screen before the main menu even pops up. It always freezes at the same place on each of these games. When you refer to clearing the drives, what files are ok to delete? I don't want to delete something I need.

Delete everything in the E:\CACHE dir and clear out your X Y Z drives...
Everything in CACHE and on those drives is put there by programs as you run them. They are supposed to take care of themselves but sometimes they don't so clearing them all out let's things start fresh again.
