im doing a soft mod and am trying to creat a boot disk that will boot on to my new hd. but when i try to lock the hd is says eeprom.bin can't be found. so i tried making another disk with the iso and the eeprom.bin file; when i tried to boot the disk, it wouldnt boot it. basically im having some issues with the boot disk. could u tell me exactly what needs to be put on the boot disk?

there is no magic boot disk. check the tutorial section for how to prepare a harddrive for a softmod on your pc

realize there is no "magic" boot disk, but my question says "what needs to be put on the boot disk" the tutorial isnt clear. it says put the iso on it. thats it. but then it asks for the eeprom.bin file. so do i need to put other files besides the iso on the boot disk?

That's exectly what you have to do. Make a back up of you eeprom, ftp it to you pc, and add it to the iso. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

im upgrading my hdd to a bigger hard drive and having exactly the same prob im using xboxhdd 1.9 and when it comes to locking the hdd it says cannot find eeprom but ive backed it up and put it in the iso and its still not finding it anybody any ideas?

wait do u unpack the iso on your comp and then burn the unpacked files on to the a cd or just put the iso as is on to the boot disk with the eeprom.bin?
