I really don't know a whole lot about electronics other than what I can scrounge up online. Like everyone else, I'm planning a new and exciting case mod that is way too elaborate for my skill level.
Anyhoo, I wanted to move the power and eject buttons to the far right side of the front panel. Obviously I won't be able to use the original plastic buttons, but does anyone have any ideas for rigging the thing to work using the front PCB?
If not, a rundown of how to connect two buttons to the yellow wires connecting the PCB would work, too. LED power is obtional but strongly desired.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I would think maybe just leave the PCB intact, lengthen the harness so it can still attach to the mobo and make your own button holes in the case that are the same size of the current ones. That way, you may be able to use the stock buttons too. _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

Yeah, I was thinking that, too. But then, I wanted the buttons to be as close as possible with the right edge of the box. Using the PCB, I'd have to have enough space to fit the PCB in there.
Ah well. I suppose I can go with a more standard gettup.

i dont actually have a full picture of what i did here but the rundown is that i am moving my buttons as well. i just left the pcb in tact and lengthened the wires from the power button and leds' points on the back of the board. basically you can just lengthen the wires from the original buttons and add another momentary push button (normally closed status). or, you can lengthen the wires from the original pcb and see if you can try and mount it in a new position. ill try and get you some better pics tomorrow. if you need any additional help ill try my best to answere you question. _________________ wetbox rusty pc
