your out of luck, though there was an article on xbox-scene's news page about an unlocker without a key head on over there and check that out

yep i think thats the program i was talking about, though i have no drive that needs to be unlocked so havent tried it

ok first what brand is it and is it stock, if seagate is it the one with the rubber jacker around it if so the all u have to do is reflash the firmware, thats it

I have recovered several HD using HDD-Unlock Wizard.

It works great, however it cost money. $20 for anything up to 250 GB. It also takes about 1-2 hours to complete the process, but it puts the HDD back to virgin state.

Hope this helps, it did me.

probably a late reply but if you have a backup of your eeprom from a previous installation of a newer and bigger hd...then why not just use xboxhdm?...that's what i did anyway....if you even still have the cd-r you copied ur files to that woudl work...
