Second I've seen. Yours, however, is a lot cleaner, and in a much better position.
Is there a link or pics to this other xbox that you've seen? Just out of curiosity...

It was during my countless hours of viewing different consoles for some ideas for my own (as lame as it may sound) and so I wouldn't have it in my history anymore. (I clear it here and there) The other had the mesh cutout on the side, and the wireless aerial jutting out from that cutout (straight through a gap in the side) _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world: those who understand binary, and those who can't.

Just from that brief description it sounds like it doesn't even compare to the one in this thread. One of the things that did amaze me about this one is how nice and tidy it was, I like the idea that you can remove that ethernet cable too and just use a normal cat 5 cable if nessecary (one thing I've noticed about wireless is it can be a hell of a lot sloewr than normal cables).

That's what I said in my initial post. This job is a lot cleaner, and a much better position than any I've seen. The most original thing I've seen done with an xBox. _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world: those who understand binary, and those who can't.

If I wasn't just a lazy-ass, had some more electrical skills, and a good tutorial, I'd probably try and modify my xbox to do the same. At the moment I'm just using my good old LinkSYS WGA54G Wireless-G Game Adapter.

hi again, sorry haven't posted for a bit. am uploading the guide to how I did it tomorrow. should really have started this thread when I'd finished it .
I would really encourage people considering this mod to give it a go, it really is worthwhile! If anyone gets stuck when attempting it they're always welcome to PM me or post the question in this forum.
