Hi, I'm a noob who's trying to get the XLink in XBMC to work. I already downloaded the XLink program to my laptop, and I can't get the thing in XBMC to log into XLink. I have a Wireless PCMCIA card in my laptop, and an ethernet cable (not crossover) going into a hub that I have. Then there's another ethernet cable going from another port in the hub into the Xbox. I can FTP files and stuff, but I can't use the XLink feature in XBMC to work. I run the XLink program on my laptop (just the engine) and then I try connecting to XLink in XBMC. I'm not sure what the settings for the network should be...

Try xBConnect. Honestly, I think it's far better than XLink and runs straight off your PC anyway. _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world: those who understand binary, and those who can't.
