ok so i got the xecuter 2.3 lite plus. install went well. flashed it with the latest bios 4983---> microsoft replayed with Xecuter2. normal games worked fine. had that in bank 1, nothing in bank 2.
then tried to install evoX, done all this before so i was ready with the go. HOWEVER, i did it a few months ago with the same chip, but 4977.
so my dumbass, instead of updating evox.ini, i just figured id download 4977 and install.
downloaded and flashed on bank 2 with 4977, it was a 1024k. did it all using the x2flashbios prog.
and then...just like the blue screen of death is to pc user...FRAG. turns on and off 3 times, then blinking red and green.
protected, unprotected. bank 1, AND bank 2----> all to the same result of frag.
so, god i wish i would of got the pro version...*SLAP
the only thing i can do right now is order the progammer and reprogram using usb correct?
just wanted to post and make sure that is my only option and there is no way i can do it without getting the programmer. .
also, how do i go about updating my evox.ini to be compatible with 4983? thanks

oh yea, just as a thankful note, someone will recieve pics of my significant other flashing, and not the chip either hey, it was her idea, she's an xbox fanatic!

What version XBOX do you own. I know this is a simple thing, but sometimes when I get wrapped up into an upgrade, I pay attention to the big things and not the little. From what I have gathered, it seems that 4977 is not compatible with XBOX verions 1.4 or 1.5...that is if I am reading the chart correctly. Someone please let me know if I am wrong.
I see that you used the 2.3lite with 4977 a little time ago, but thought maybe it was on a different machine.

hey what error code are you getting you should still get that far so let us know what error code that helps out alot
