M@D patch
Heres what to do:
1. put my original disc into the xbox
2. used flash fxp and copied the complete folder to my pc
3. used winhex 9.92 to locate and apply the fix on the default.xbe (at address 0006928C change 74 to EB...you can find this offset from selecting the "Position" option in the toolbar and then slecting "Go To Offset", dont forget to save the changes to the default.xbe)
4. used flash fxp to copy the game back to the xbox hdd, ignored all files that didnt copy. restarted the box......and started the game.
post your findings..
btw. dvd2xbox now supports ADL PATCHING.. This means code can be posted on forums and just pasted into the dvd2xbox ACL file to patch games for playing on your HARD DRIVE.. _________________ HQ Network:

Yep worked fine here.
An idea I just had, create PPF files for the .xbe patches. I have a PPF maker here and it's pretty easy to use.
Your thoughts?

A patch pack for PPF stuff (like a PPF Maker and PPF program to insert into xbe programs) I could do with my eyes closed. If you can guarantee you can host it I'll make it

Hi fellas i tried to do a search but without any luck with the disk error i get after installing NRL R/L onto my HDD. I have the latest version of dvd2xbox and installed the 484500001 acl file into the acl folder of my xbox in the dvd2xbox folder (hope that makes sense). Can you please help me with this one? I have installed other games onto my HDD without a problem. I know that there is a problem with the names of some of the movies that are in the game apparently they are something like 50 characters long and that what seems to be the problem.
Peace!!

Did you take any notice of the other posts? It explains clearly on how you need to patch the default.xbe file. You can either do it manually, or use a PPF file I created.
Hope that sorts it out...

Guests cant download from site.
Create a username and try that way. It's just to keep the leechers out. Once you create a registered account with a username and such you should be able to download anything not in the VIP download section.

Dude, I'm still a noob!! Only have been at it for three months now.
I have never had to use any patches. I guess I am lucky where all the games I have backed up have worked.
But, I am sure someone else can help. I don't think you want to mess with the xbe file though...not sure. _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

G'day Fellas. Just to let you know i got the pff patcher and patched the nrl game up. Thanx for that working fine. The only problem i have now is that i can't view the scences that are unlocked. I think there are about 6 movies scences to unlock throughout the game. Is there a way of viewing them in the game? Everytime i try to view the couple i have unlocked, i get that disk dirty error. The reason why i ask is that i haven't unlocked all of them. All i have is the first 3. Thanx for the GR8 work with all of this.
PEACE!!!
