Can someone help me i need step by step instructions on how to change my dashboard i have evox and i wanna try avalance and XBMC and if anyone know anymore nice ones pls let me know and where.....and how do i backup my x box just in case something happens like if i download the evox auto installer and i erased the wrong file and it stopped working will that fix it ???

If you want to try the others, why don't you just FTP them to your F:/Apps folder and launch them like an application. Then you can take a look and see what you like best, plus if there is a specific feature that you are looking for you will get to use it.
We have a new autoinstaller coming out that will give you a lot more freedom on what dash you install. Also, I uploaded some software that allows you to have multiple dashs on your system. And you can just choose the one you want to be the default and the software will take care of it for you.
I cannot remember the name of the app though. There is a news story on it that I did about a month ago.
I'll look and see what I can find,

I will try that so i just download the dash unzip it then just ftp it into the f/apps folder and thats it ??? where can i find the latest XBMC Dash i didnt see it in the downloads

i have a xbox with a 120 and want to install a 250 how do i swap or do i have to copy it to the new drive ???
