Can someone please tell me what bios file I need?

There seem to be two files X3 Config Live: Bios Build 1959 which is 1024 kb & the Xecuter FlashBIOS v3.03 which is 256 kb.

Simply put which one do I use to create my flash disc and then flash my Xbox with?
And what is the difference between these two files?

I have a v1.0 Xbox.

Hi,
You will need X3 Bios 1957 1024kb to create your flashing disk.

Have a look here http://home.comcast.net/~x3guide/ for your dip switch settings for a 1024kb bios.

Right clic on this one and "save target as" to download this guide on how to use it http://www.ajberry.net/xbox/n00b_survival.pdf

I've just used this guide to flash my X3 via my network and it works a treat.

P.S the Bios your after is available in the V.I.P downloads section.....sign up ,its worth every penny Very Happy

Carface, use the X3_1959 bios. Install this in banks 1-4. There really is no need to flash using FlashBios3.03 unless you absolutely want to as it is nothing more than a newwer version of the backup bios.
