First of all, I saw your last post. The problem was addressed. Second of all, posting in all caps and being obnoxious will not get you anywhere. We are not the Xbox Scene, and do not take kindly to people dropping the hammer on us, two hours after you post.
This is a VOLUNTEER site. We are not comcast, nor Verizon, nor Dell. We do not offer 24/7 on call assistance, so please, be patient with your NINE posts and wait for a response. IF SOMEONE HAS THE ANSWER TO YOUR PROBLEM, IT WILL BE FULLY ADDRESSED.
Oh, there goes the caps....
Now, as far as your little problem, make sure you're not using a USB interface Keyboard. If you are, make sure your Motherboard's BIOS settings are correct to allow full device usage when you're running in some kind of a DOS/Linux environment.
As for my problem, I had the same issue in the past. I have a USB wireless keyboard/mouse. Linux wouldn't recognize it (at least not the xbhdm) so I had to use the PS2 adapter to make it work. If this doesn't solve your problem, then I'll see if I can't get someone around to this post and help you furthur.
None of us are paid to monitor the fourms, nor run the VIP servers (which obviously you have no idea what they are). So before you come in here flipping out on your second post about how we don't help you at the drop of a hat, maybe you could use the SEARCH function at the top of the forum navigation bar. See it? It's right next to FAQ. It says "Search"... That's simple, huh?
Now, I'm going to be a good little admin, and go to your beck and call... Maybe I can find the answer to your problem for you.
And just another side note, this can apply to anyone. In case you haven't noticed, this site has more Xbox related info than any other site on the web. Yes, even more than the actual Xbox site... Who woulda thought. A lot of work has gone into helping people solve their problems over the past year, using the forums and the tutorials site. The search engine for the forums works very well.
Oh, are you using the newest version of XBHDM??? _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."
ok i didnt know caps was i problem.....sorry.....but i really need help.....i am use a wireless mouse but its hook up to a ps/2 adapter but im using a ps/2 keyboard.....and i dont have another computer......and i read all the forums and i did search i just not havin any luck at all with this......im doin everthing right so can you help me pleeeeeeeeeeeeease......i dont know who to ask no more
There ya go... I hope that helped out a bit... Most of those are containing posts by you... I beleive the 4th link, though, will be the most helpful... or was it the last one... Read around, check it out, m8...
And I've done everything I can to help you. Maybe your mobo is just gay. Some are... My mobo refuses to "unfreeze" drives so they can be locked with the EEPROM. So I had to come out here to use my boy's box. worked like a charm. Some mobo's are just weird. Try a standard Keyboard, unplug the mouse (it's useless in that enviro anyway) _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

I realize that is your problem. Have you tried a different keyboard? Have you checked your bios settings... Better yet? What is your setup? What kind of Mobo, what chipset? what kind of RAM? What brand Keyboard? This kind of info can also be usedful. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."
i suspect the keyboard most wireless keyboards need drivers for them to work. _________________

Well, I'm sorry, m8, but like blazer said... Dell bioses just don't like Linux... Period. That's the main downside to Dell... They're not user friendly... learn something and build your own box... Then you'll feel all uber cool. I'ma bring my boy hellstorm in on this one... watch out. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."
