I'm having a problem with my softmodded XBOX. I installed UnleashX and the softmod onto my XBOX using (I think) SID 2.0.
The softmod successfully installed, as I have been playing Phantasy Star Online (a HDD download due to the fact the original version requires XBOX Live, which is discontinued).
So, down to where the problem started. I was messing about with my XBOX, trying to track HTTP requests it made by using my router. Somehow my XBOX crashed during it and when I started it back up it started getting Error 13. I asked my friend how to fix it, and he said games such as Halo 2 will install a new dashboard if needed. I told him I would do it tomorrow.
Unknowingly, I pulled the XBOX from the power thinking it'll all be okay in the morning (It was about 7-8PM when I did it) - and when I woke up (I'm going to guess 11AM today) and plugged it in, I started getting Error 16 when trying to load Halo 2.
I have no idea how to fix this, and I would like to have my Phantasy Star online saves back at least. Having to start all over again is a pain!

sounds like your c drive was affected somehow.......
i would try and get the latest version of aid and at least try and get ftp
access, if you get it you should be ok......
this happened to me a few weeks back, when i tried to install a new dashboard, the c drive was wiped and it booted me straight to various error screens

Youve got Clock Set error, its a nasty thing with the old PBL mods. Your only options are to try a boot disc cold boot or an XBOXHDM rebuild, or chip the sucker. With PBL (SID2) it shadow boots MS Dash first which requires a set clock when it doesnt get this BOOM error screen. As long as you have the eeprom or are game to hotswap you can fix it guaranteed then first order of business is a fresh eeprom backup and FTP it to PC then pop in either AID 4.53 or Babylon1 and wipe that sucker and install an NKP11.04u mod, or else wait for the new AID which will have the Public Key mod.

Somehow I managed to fix it by swapping the IDE cables (I have two XBOXes, one was working so I used t hat) when they were both unlocked; I had a backup copy of the dash which let me use the HDD and replace the 'corrupted' (I assume, anyway) files. (Yes, I essentially described a hotswap. )
Sorry for the (extremely) late response, I hardly check here.
