I modded my xbox years ago, and it has served well as a media centre, but I have an xbox 360 now, and I'd like to change my old original into a Linux server. Not so much as a file server or anything, but as an actualy server. Looking to play with Samba4 (for it's AD approach).

Now, already having a (soft) modded xbox (currently running xbmc), with an upgraded hard drive, is there anything special I need to do? Every site I look at tells me to go to xbox-linux which is now a blank page. Nothing is there.

Can anyone point me to a tut, or tell me what I need to do?

whats your kernel, if its above 4920 a true loopback Linux install is not possible.
