Hi folks,
Nice site you have here. I have just gotten around to softmodding my xbox. Original config.....retail HDD with XBMC as my dashboard. I have looked all over and scoured all over for apps and plugins, etc. My guess is that a lot of this stuff has been lost....a lot of the download links are broken on various sites. I think my best bet is to try the "SVN REPO Installer". I am trying to learn what this is exactly, but not having a lot of luck. Can anyone give me a brief tutorial or point me in the general direction. There are a couple key things I want to have on my XBOX........emulators for MAME and NES, HULU and Youtube capability, and just some basic web browsing capability.
So far I have been able to connect to my laptop via my router and I can share files, pics, music, etc. So that is is cool. I am looking to be able to stream video and tv shows though. Can I get these directly from the internet via youtube and netflix? Do those plugins exiast?
I just need to be pointed in the right direction with some solid links, files, etc. I have been hitting a LOT of dead ends......
I hope to get the latest AID on there tonight which will get me Linksboks and some emulators hopefully, but I have read that linksboks sucks.......

Ultimate Bootdisc 4 and I believe AID/SID come with apps and emus (no roms due to piracy issues) and I know linksboks is on the ultimate boot disc. Xbins or torrent sites are your best bet now days. Just stay away from shady sites like TPB or youll probably end up with an infected PC.
The newest version of XBMC has tons of plugins Im sure exactly which ones but I know it has full functionality including recognizing Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse instantly and Utorrent plugin. A directplay linux based web browser may work as opposed to linksboks but Im not 100% on that.
At the very least you should be able to run things like youtube on your laptop and stream it to the xbox

Welcome to HQ..
We have most files on our VIP FTP Server or in our VIP Downloads area.. We also offer select downloads for free in our normal downloads area.
Is there a file in particular you are after.. if you are one of our members may have it and can upload it for you to the appropriate area.
Just so you know, our VIP Downloads area is for bios related, emulators, dashboards etc and our normal downloads area is for general xbox 1 apps and pc, mac stuff.
If you ever get into xbox 360 you can use your same HQ login and password on our www.360-hq.com and learn some more.
