THIS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED HELP PLease!!!
So i formated my hard drive but before that, I backed up the eerrom and the Valid MS, and deleted everything, leaving the E:backup for the dash and i backed up the eerrom to the F drive, but thats it, so I forgot to restore the ms dash to the c drive and turned it off, thus leaving me with no file manager to transfer the sid5.11/splinter cell files from the mem to the hard drive to reinstall everything, HOW CAN I GET THE MS DASH BACK?? OR REINSTALL SID, I ALSO HAVE THE AID CD BUT OBVIOSLY IT DOESNT READ IT, please help i really love this website :DDDDDDD thanks guys

Do not double post any more man, we will get to your post.
Just use xboxHDM to rebuild the HDD using your backed up eeprom.

Okay so i burned it to a cd copyied the ms dash to the c and burned the iso it boots and everything, But I found a 200 gig seagate and it is compatable, i checked the website for it, and im trying to format it for the xbox, i chose option threee and tried the unlock and lock HD commands but i recieve errors on both, and it has a list of "checking for CD-ROM in" with /dev/hd**** then at the bottom it says Linux CD not found! Insert it and try again..
what do i have to do to get it to work?

error 11 Disk drive is not connected securely or is failing, error 13 dash launch fail: put in a game like halo 2 and launch the xbox live option and it should repair the C drive when it runs the dash update.
Any of this help?

yea i saw that folder but i have to get the EEPROM from the old hard drive but cant because theres no dash, i just have to get that original dash back, then softmodd it, and upgrade the drive from one of the programs from AID or SID im sure they have one i think , but what are the specs for the halo 2? like is there a certain version i have to buy to get the c drive back?
