I was wondering if there is a way I can change the driver up so I can connect and disconnect it from the xbox usb port. _________________

I don't think you can boot from an external and it cant be over 4 GB.

Yeah, as Wes said, you can't unless it is under 4GB's. And thats also only in the XBMC dashboard. And you also have to remember that the Xbox 1 USB Ports are USB1.0 (which is very slow). _________________

Ok, Thanks I wasn't going to boot from it. I was wanting to connect the external hard drive so I could backup the internal hardrive.
