I have an Xbox with an Executor2 chip in it, as it only had a 80gb drive with avalaunch dashbord I purchased a 500gb drive and installed it. I booted AID 4.40 and formatted the drives and then selected the 'one click install'. This all went ok and at the end it asked me to turn off the xbox.
I did this and when it restarts it goes straight to the MS dashboard, I went through the process again and it did the same thing. I then selected the install dashboard option and installed one but it still just boots to the MS front screen.
How can I get it to boot to a normal dashboard again please ????

Install the X2config tool on your PC and make an ini file telling the chip what dash you want and ware it is on the HDD.
You can find the X2 config App on the AID disk.

Thanks for that I will give it a try.
I have found that it seems to be only the Avalaunch dash that it does it on, I have tried two others and they work ok. Having tried the Avalaunch about 6 times now I have seen twice it comes up with an unzipping error, have tried it on different burnt images and it's the same.
Will just use another Dash I guess or try the solution provided at the weekend maybe.
