need to unlock a hdd i found but have a softmodded xbox and dont have the password !
tried using hotswap and chimp and using hddd unlock wizard but my drive wasnt supported :@

You will need an eeprom reader or a mod chip to use the HDD

its a hithachi drive but its already locked i guess i gonna find some1 tht has a modchip in their xbox...

i got a maxtor 120GB and my friend jbrizzel used his excuter 3CE to unlock it and it wouldnt do it just my thoughts on useing chips i dont have one but wished i did

FCK this drive is killing me tried again last night and used atawd and actully said it was unlocked but still it wanst and plugged it in my xbox using hotswap and config magic and got the key but tht didnt work when i tried it and couldnt unlock it there either ....
SO STUPID should be a easy way like a program tht just does the drive like it was from the begining ....

To copy the hdd one to one you can use chimp to do it.
