Last year I was able to softmod my old Xbox and replace the HD with a 160gb model. No problems. Now iI'm wondering how to go about using it as a media server, the kind that is always on and accessible from my two XP computers. A device where I can load all my music and access it through WMP 11. I searched online and found a few old articles from 2005-2006 but wondering if there is a more recent, easier method. I found reference to Xebian which sounded interesting. Is this the best way to go (something about a bootable CD) or is this not even possible. Will WMP 11 recognize a modded Xbox running Linux over a wireless network?
Thought or suggestions?

I Doubt WMP11 would support connecting or streaming from a XBOX 1 console but hey i could be wrong..!
You could however use your pc to SHARE to your xbox 1.. If anyone else has some input feel free to reply..
