No im using a router to get there and how would i ping the IP? I checked my Dash and it say that the IP is 192.168.0.2 I enter that in and i get the same
Connection failed because host failed to respond in time
Connect Failed

Ok.
Which version of Windows you running? If its XP, do this:
Click start.
Click run
Type: cmd
This brings up the command prompt.
In there type: ping 192.168.0.2

Im Running Vista Home and I have SmartFTP with UnleashX dash and everything else is Retail Going through a router to connect and the thing is it detects the box but It says that i should be responding on the Box to let it in IDK i have my settings configured to allow FTP transfers... _________________ [img]http://achievements.schrankmonster.de/Achievement.aspx?text=Xbox-HQ%20Enthusiast[/img]

Also this is what it says when i try to connect..

and when i did that command prompt thing it said...

You missed out the "ping" when you typed the command, hence the "192.168.0.2 is not recognized as an internal or exernal command,operable program or batch file"
Ping statististics for 192.168.100:

Nevermind! i got it to work. i changed it from 192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.2 and it worked oh well now i can just put whatever i need on there right?
and one other question when i start up my box and loadd halo 2 it wont let me go on xbox live period just doesnt sign in and its not my gamertag cuz it works on my other box _________________ [img]http://achievements.schrankmonster.de/Achievement.aspx?text=Xbox-HQ%20Enthusiast[/img]

Glad to hear it man.
If you try and go onto Xbox Live with a softmodded Xbox you're going to get yourself banned mate. Once you softmod the box, Live is no longer an option.
A lot of our members here use a free program called Xlink Kai, for all online gaming.

I know about Kai and XBC I was just going to do Halo 2 custom games anyway. Yeah man this has been the best modding site ive ever used. its much more accesible than most other sites the just seem kinda like you dont belong there this just feels like you can get help and its way easier to navigate. Pretty much all my Qs have been answered and i figured as much about you guys posting i was just bored and felt like saying something
