I don't know if I should be posting this here, but I'll try anyway. I've recently softmodded my XBOX... successfully I might add. I managed to get XBMC as my default dash working. Now I'm trying to load up some MP3 files. I've loaded a couple of albums and the interface looks slick. When I play them it looks like everythings working fine. I get visualizations and the song timer is moving and navigation seems to be fine, but I'm not getting any sound.
I've checked my volume with games and it seems to work just fine. I just can't get the MP3 to play properly.
Any suggestions?

Just an update, I found that all the navigation clicks were'nt happening either. I tried turning the TV volume up al the way and I can actually here everything, but its very low.
When XBMC loads up the intro plays fine at a normal level. but all other sounds including MP3 playback... the TV has to be turned up to full just to hear a whisper.
Any suggestions? I read on another forum someone saying to turn up XBMC. How do I do that?

I don't use xbmc much but I know it has its own volume and if you can hear some sound out of the tv then thats probably what it is. I think you use up and down on the right side stick to adjust it.

Thanks for the info, that's good to know. I actually went back and installed a previous build (August 12th I think) and everything now works fine.
Thanks again!!
