I (think i) have followed the instructions in the manual, but when I come to burn the created iso onto dvd using dvd decrypter i get the following message:
"Invalid or unsupported image file format. Reason: first image file part is less than 2048 bytes in size."

Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers.

Welcome to the HQ dave, we hope you enjoy the site.

Did you go in to DVD decrypters settings and set it to wright ISO mode?

Yeah it because (Reason: first image file part is less than 2048 bytes in size.") what ever it is your trying to burn is not the aid iso, thats way to small to be the right thing.

Here you go mate, I made this vid for just such an occasion. It mainly deals with adding the update packs to the ISO (which is also worth doing), but I do deal with the burning side in it too.

Let me know if you need anything.

Cheers for that mate. Finally got the dvd to burn just before i watched the video, but still really helpful.

Now i've got another problem, the xbox isn't reading the disc. I'm guessing this could be because i used a DVD +R disc. But i've got slayers 2.7 installed from last year on the xbox, and when i put the dvd in sometimes it says no disc and others it says unknown disc. Anything i can do to 'encourage' it to read the disc?
Cheers for the help guys, i'm sure its all worth it!

I'll buy some -R and try again. I've got a 250gb hdd on order so i just hope i can get this sorted before it arrives Wink

I'd recommend -R's also, I've used nothing but -R for my Xbox.

Cheers for the advice guys. Just seems strange that i used the same type of discs for slayers 2.7 and it worked, and sometimes the slayers dashboard says D:unknown, which im guessing shows that the xbox knows the disc is there? could it be to do with Slayers interfering or something? I'm a complete noob when it comes to this Rolling Eyes

Nah i haven't, but the box will boot to a slayers disc i've got, and will play backed up games. I don't see what i'm doing wrong that could stop the xbox reading the discs. Any ideas?
