Like as far as your xbox version goes, if I conected to xbox live in the past on an old xbox, was the versoin updated or is it still the version it normally was?

If you hooked up to live with the xbox then your dash is updated to what ever VER. was out when you logged on, if you look in the ms dash under system info (i think) and wait for it to scroll it will tell you what VER. you have.
