I have tried everything I can possibly think of to fix this problem. Everytime I try to update my 4.10 ISO with the 4.12 or 4.13 updater, I get an error message. Sometimes it says that the file is not found or the file is already in use by another program. Either way, I can't get it to work. I just want to update the old 4.10 AID disc I have with all the new skins and emus from 4.12 and 4.13 and maybe some other stuff, but I guess I just don't know what I'm doing. I do it like it tells me to evereytime. Somebody please help me.
I never got my SMSx plus to run either. I still have it downloaded, but it never works once I install it. Tha's another problem though. _________________

if the 4.12 or 4.13 didnt come with the zip file then im not sure if they can update it its just a thought never really had this kind of problem _________________ xbox AID 4.10 80GB WD

Help me out. I'm right here for the next hour or so. I can tell what you need to know. Just help me get this ISO updated. There is another post of a guy trying to do the exact same thing. _________________

Ok koots just download the 4.10 iso then run the updater and add the 4.13 update to the iso and then add the 4.13addon packs and burn. thats it.

Here you go man, try following this tut video I made on updating the ISO. Make sure you follow my steps and with any luck you'll be ok.
I'll try to use that video. Wes, I have tried at least ten times to put the addons from both 4.12 and 4.13, at different times, and every time i get an error message. I'm pretty sure it's not how I'm doing it, but maybe something wrong with the download. Again though, THanks FC, I will try the video and let you know how it goes. _________________

Final, I just tried using your tut, and it was exactly like I had been doing it. STill the same outcome. THis is exactly what error I got. It says...
AID ISO Updater\temp\files\PBL\Modchip\pbl.zip cannot find file specified.
What the 'ell am I doing wrong, or what is wrong? _________________

To me it sounds like either your missing a file, or the file has been moved to a different folder. _________________

Might have a corrupted download possibly, of either the AID itself or the addon. That might explain the error.
You know I honestly don't remember. If you think that's it then you would know better than me. I doubt you have tons of links to AID. Have you ever had any troubles with these Wes. I'm doing the update just like every says to do it. I mean, it's not rocket science. I guess I'll try to download again, but I don't se how I could get a bad download using the same link everyone else uses.
The error I get is about the Modchip file, asI showed, but I don't even have a chipped XBOX. Could I just manually not update that file. _________________

Yeah you can just skip the chip add on files you only need to update the stuff you will use.

I'll try to find it. I only updated with the emulator pack, update pack, and update lite patch that was i the main part of 4.13. I didn't actually go into the addon packs folder. I did what was shown in FinalCloud's tut. Should I use the addon pack folder? _________________
